This outfit was basically built around the bangle, which I bought last September in New York and then put in a box and into storage when we had our flat on the market. Yeah, logical. So I actually hadn’t worn it until the other day! It s from a shop called alpana bawa which we went into because it had very interesting looking men’s shirts, though they turned out to be way out of Dave’s price range. The bangle was expensive too, for a bangle, but I loved it and I always feel a bit more like splurging on holiday, because then the thing you bought reminds you of the trip.
I also tried some blogger-style jumping photos for this post, it didn’t really work. I had about ten pictures, but these ere the only two that were even vaguely in focus. Plus it’s hard to do a non-freakish facial expression while jumping up and down like an idiot. I’ll maybe try again on a day with less changeable light conditions (it was sun, shade, sun, shade every minute that day), but I don’t think I’m gonna make a habit of it. It’s a bit much effort and takes me further away from outfit documentation towards ‘having a photoshoot’ which I don’t really see as the point of my blog.
