For Father’s Day I went all Pinterest and made these cute Milos on a stick as cake toppers. Actaully i was inspired by this similar thing on the Paper Mama.

Do you need a DIY? it’s pretty self-explanatory: I printed out the photos (4 to a page on a 6×4 print), cut them out, and stick them on the sticks with UHU with a back of not overly thick card. I used barbecue sticks, which have the advantage of being longer, but are also thicker, so I had to cut off half of the thickness with a craft knife where the picture was going. If you used cocktail sticks you wouldn’t need to do that, and you could probably then get away with using paperglue instead of UHU as well.

You could probably also dispense with the card back, but then they just wouldn’t look as nice, and I wanted them to be used for a while. They are currently frolicking in the cacti.

The muffins were made using this recipe with the blueberries replaced with frozen mixed berried that I mixed into the dough rather than dotted on top, plus 50g of very finely chopped white chocolate.
