Milo week 37 – 40

weeks 37-40

Another weekly photo installment. I am so behind, it is actually week 43 now, so only one more and I’ll have the next roundup. And the only reason I know that its 43 weeks is because I’m taking these photos, somewhere at around 6 months I stopped counting in weeks.

Anyway, we haven’t been having such a great time with Milo recently. He did well with his first week at nursery, but in the second week he got ill and it’s now the end of week three and it’s just been one thing after another: eye infection, cold/flu, then a vomiting/diarrhea bug which we caught too. Not fun! We’re all better, but Milo is still poorly. I don’t want to get into the details, because it changes from day to day and I have predicted that he was on the way to being all better way too many times now. It’s really upsetting to see him all clingy and lethargic. It really makes me appreciate what a contented little man he usually is!

We went through a similar patch of ill health when my eldest started nursery at 9 months. I think it was just the shock of new germs hitting him (and then us) and people I spoke to seemed to think it was fairly typical. Things settled down after a bit, which is just as well as my boss told me later she was starting to question her decision to hire me! We didn’t regret sending him to nursery, I just wish we’d had the knowledge or finances to settle him in well before my work start date.

Gorgeous photos! My 2 both caught everything going when they first started nursery but it did get better, they seemed to build up immunity after a while.

Awe, Milo is so cute! I’m sorry to hear he’s still sick, though :/. Hope he gets over whatever he has!

    Have a great one!
