On Saturday, we took a little trip down to the Shore for a wander and a visit to the Water of Leith bistro (we love it there, it’s where we had our wedding lunch). We had planned to give Milo a bit of a run around before lunch, but since we were running a bit late and it was uber windy, that got curtailed a bit. We did manage to “feed the ducks” though. By which I mean Dave fed them and Milo ate all the chunks of bread he was given himself. We are heavily pushing ‘quack’ as a word for Milo to say, to
limited no success. He really wasn’t interested in the duckies at all to be honest!
In other news, this was the first time we bought Milo a children’s meal while out (we put that food you can see in the photos away quickly). It was two massive homemade fishfingers and a bowl of beans. He ate all the fish and about half the beans (though quite a lot of them ended up in his hair). I sometimes wonder how he can eat as much as he eats and still be so small! I know people (with screwed up eating habits, bit still, adults) for whom that would have been too much!
