The weekend before last we went to the Hidden Door festival, which was an arts festival running in some disused vaults near the station before they are done up as part of a wider development. It felt a bit like the art college degree show (i.e. variable quality), it was good fun! They had some pretty good local bands playing at night as well, which we obviously couldn’t go to though.

I did have a slight panic attack as well in one of the vaults, which was a walkway through a black box in complete darkness. Not that bad, but my heart went jumpy and all I could think of was how I wanted out of it. I kept expecting there to be steps and ramps even though I knew it was completely flat. I had a proper physical reaction to it and it took me about an hour to stop feeling funny afterwards. I know that I’m scared of heights, and it’s getting worse as I’m getting older, but I had no idea I was also terrified of darkness. I hope that more stuff like doesn’t start happening!

P.s. Sorry about accidentally posting this yesterday! I get easily confused with dates

glad you attended that art fair, even when the quality was assorted, sometimes little treasures are the best part!!. I remember those vaults near the bus station, it’s nice they’re going to be revamped!
    (love your new glasses indeed!)
    besos
