What Dave wore: tweedy goodness

tweed tweed

A little boys fashion interlude: Dave is wearing a tweed flat cap from Joules which we were kindly sent to review. I’ve only relatively recently come to appreciate the loveliness of tweeds, partly because Harris tweed bags and stuff started becoming widely available and mixed into contemporary outfits, and partly because I’ve started visiting fabric shops and becoming aware of the range of tweeds there are, and they’re all so lovely. This is Joules signature green tweed with pink bits (actually I’ve no idea if they call it a signature tweed, probably not, but in my mind it is what I associate with them). Doesn’t Dave look dapper with his hat? The feather pin he’s stuck on is what he wore for our wedding.

Outfit stats:
* hat – c/o Joules * jacket – h&m * jeans – Next? H&M? * tshirt – some high street shop * shoes – camper * badger pin – from when he was little, I think * white pin – picked up at a clubnight in an abandoned factory in new york (how exciting does that sound? Sadly, I was pretty pregnant when this happened, so didn’t really get the full benefit!) * bike pin – some independent shop somewhere * feather pin – some independent online seller *

You can by my accurate descriptions that I have extensively researched the origin of Dave’s clothes. Such a professional blogger I am šŸ˜‰ If you’d like to correct me Dave, please do!

I got something from Joules too, but no pictures as yet!
