What I wore: red, green and a birthday present!

Remember when I wrote about the Very Vintage Scaramanga shop the other week? Well, the lovely people at Scaramanga hearing that it’s my birthday, decided to gift me a bag! How nice is that? They called me a brand ambassador, which sounds very strange (I associate that with big time bloggers), but I suppose is true! I really think Scaramanga are great, the product are great looking, ethical and the company is local to me, and happy to tell anyone that cares to listen about it!

Anyway, you might remember, I was looking for a bigger size of rounded saddle bag, but in the absence of that I went for this one, the vintage leather saddle bag. The leather is the distressed vintage type, unlike my other one which is the plain tan. I slathered it in leather protecting wax which made it a bit shinier and darkened it a shade.

It actually comes under the men’s section, and it’s really more of a travel bag. It’s pretty massive and the strap is ridiculously long! You can see it in the official photos, even on the model it sits really low. On me it was literally down to my knees. But I just took it to the cobblers and they made some new holes further up in the strap and now it sits just right, and I’ve been using it as a handbag loads. It’s so good to have just the one buckle, though I do have to be careful not to fill it full or it gets very heavy, as I noticed to my peril in Copenhagen where these photos were taken.

Outfit stats:
* jumper – charity shop * tshirt – I dyed it red * skirt – vintage shop * sandals – saltwater sandals * bag – c/o Scaramanga *

    I love the patterns on this skirt, very unique and I think this bag is really cool. And awesome the cobbler made it so it fits perfectly 😀

    The bag is great, and that’s really nice that they gifted it to you – just makes them seem like a nice brand. I adore your Saltwater Sandals, I have been coveting them since you first posted a picture – I think I might need a pair. I meant to ask you on your post about them, do you find them true to size?

      Well, they have a different sizing system that they appear to have made up all by themselves! They have a size chart you print out as an A4 and then put your foot on, I did this and the shoes turned out exactly as the chart, so I’d recommend doing that, I’ve heard it described as one size up from UK, but for me that wasn’t the case. I’m usually a 5.5 and I got a 6 in these. Though as I was saying in the post about them, they are pretty narrow!

        Cheers! I ended up getting a pair today and the sizing chart definitely helped although I did get to try them on in the shop I ended up in (randomly as I was going to get them online then saw them in a shop in North Berwick). They are pretty comfy although to be fair I have only worn them around the house so far 🙂

    Sehr hübsches Outfit, das Blümchenmuster ist total süß und das Shirt und der Pulli passen so gut dazu! 🙂
