As I mentioned on Wednesday, on one of the weekends in August we went on a wee trip out to the secret herb garden. It’s basically a quite overgrown greenhouse with some vintage furniture (which is very vintage, i.e. quite destroyed in places, you can see the chunks missing out of the arms of those cream coloured chairs) dotted about for people to sit in. There’s a lovely cafe and shop. We had cakes (Dave has a chocolate cake and I had a lavender scone) which were very tasty and they also have quiches which look amazing! The shop is quite small, selling food and some garden stuff and home decor/knick knacks. There’s also a tiny vintage furniture bit. Oh and a kiddies corner in the greenhouse which is where the car thing Milo is scooting around came from. It’s really near Ikea and the Straiton retail parks so it’s a great place to stop off for some food and a kiddie run around afterwards!

I feel like I am the only blogger in Edinburgh who hasn’t made it out to the Secret Herb Garden yet! It looks absolutely amazing in your photos xo
