I’ve got some life stuff going on just now which I can’t talk about, and it’s really putting me off blogging. If I can’t share the important stuff then I really don’t want to talk about myself at all, it feels too weird to compartmentalise like that. So I’ve been thinking about what to do with the blog in the meantime.
And just then a new thing came along to help me out. It’s ‘December reflections’ organised by susannah Conway of august break fame, and it’s basically the same thing, take a photo a day to a prompt. I’ll be playing along with the prompts on Instagram, but I’ll use the prompts in a slightly different way on the blog.
I usually take have a ‘winter break’ over Christmas in which I schedule daily posts with other people’s pictures so I can have a proper holiday, and I thought I’d use the prompts in this way, sharing other people’s photos and some older ones from my own flickr archive. I’ll probably be posting Monday to Friday, and still do the project 52 on Sundays, so I won’t be doing every prompt.
It’ll be fun I think!
*** Update in light of people’s comments: Don’t worry about me, the thing is not a bad thing. I won’t say any more now, but really, I’m fine!
