Sarah and Duck – Quack!

Sarah and Duck Bake A Cake

We’ve been watching a lot of Sarah and Duck recently. If you’re in the UK you’ve never seen it (i.e. if you don’t have kids – it’s on Cbeebies), you really should. They’re short 5 minute stories about a little girl that lives in a house with her duck. It’s all a bit surreal, there’s an umbrella who is scared of the rain, a forgetful old lady who is kept on track by her talking handbag and has a weeping woolen tree to keep her in yarn (my favourite), acrobatic shallots and lots of other weird and wonderful characters. I just love the visuals, there are so many details everywhere.

The official page where you can watch all the episodes (assuming you can get onto iplayer) is here.

Whilst I haven’t seen Sarah and Duck (I’m sure it will make it to creche soon), I did see this link on twitter. Does Milo need a new hat? 🙂

I’ve seen that, but it’s just a green hat isn’t it! Some great crochet patterns for dolls though, unfortunately I can’t crochet

I don’t know why rainbow isn’t in it more! He’s only in one of the episodes that’s on iplayer just now. I know this cos I’ve watched them all at least 5 times this weekend…
