We went to the Hidden Door arts festival yesterday. It ran for the first time last year (see my photos from then) in some arches by Waverley station, which are now being redeveloped. The new site is a disused street lighting depot just off the Grass market and it worked really well! It’s bigger and it’s nice that it’s enclosed. The lovely weather helped too! I really enjoyed all the art this year too, and we didn’t even manage to see it all because Milo wanted to be outside all the time. Lots of video art, which I’m not usually a massive fan of, but actually probably my favourite thing was a video installation about bees.

If you’re in Edinburgh, and you haven’t been yet, I definitely recommend it! Its’ on til Saturday and all the info is on the official website.
