A couple of stashbusting hats today I knitted for charity. They are going to go into Christmas parcels for homeless people distributed by Serenity Cafe.

The grey one was originally meant to be an Acai for myself in the light grey colour, but I quickly realised I didn’t have enough yarn for it so i switched to stockinet the for the main but and added some random garter stitch stripes in a darker grey.

The other one is just a plain patternless ribbing/stockinette thing holding together some black with some orangey colour changing yarn. The orange is actually a felting yarn, which is why it’s been languishing in the stash box. I have quite a bit of felting yarn, but no idea how much it will shrink (I lost that information ages ago) so I can’t actually knit anything felty. Only one photo because I had planned to get Dave to take pictures when we went out day but then we never did and I didn’t put make up on, so just a back of the head shot by the window.

What beautiful hate and how lovely to be making them for charity. I am sure that they will feel like a hug to someone that receives one. Xx

Ist die graue Mütze wo du mich gefragt hast ob ich sie brauchen könnte? Das muster ist schön. Aber irgendwie hat es mir die bunte Mütze angetan. Ist halt mal was anderes.
