Today I thought I’d show you what I do with the project 52 photos, which is print them out and put them in an album. I think I mentioned before that this is why I like the project 52 thing of taking pictures every week and selecting one as ‘the’ picture so much, because it gives enough photos to really be able to see a change in the boys, but also not too many for it to become totally unmanageable. And I’m not sure I’d have the discipline to do this for myself if it wasn’t for the blog. Anywhoo, the albums. Today I’m showing Ellis’ which is a smaller one cos obviously he didn’t have a full year’s worth of photos. It’s not too difficult to find an album that fits 29 photos, but I ordered it from the same place as Milo’s, so I’ll talk about that when I show Milo’s photos.
I am tagging this post under scrapbooking, but I didn’t really do anything to the photos other than stick some patterned paper behind them. Last year with Milo’s I also typed out some descriptions of what the photo was about, but it was a fair bit of work and particularly with Ellis it seemed a bit pointless as it would have pretty much been ‘sleeping on XXXX…’ all the time. The papers I used were mostly the ones I got from Tiger last year, plus some of the decoupage paper I got at the Laura Ashley crafternoon I went to in the summer, and some painting Milo did, and a few from a scandi paper magazine thing someone in my craft group was getting rid of. Though now the Tiger ones are almost all run out I will have to source some more for next year!
