Me Made May roundup

Me made may

Colette Sorbetto top without the pleat, then pleated around the neckline because that was too big. I really like the way the pleating looks. Bit tight round the underarms and I don’t like the bias binding I used though. I’m still deciding whether to donate it.

Me made may

Burdastyle dress which was one of the first things I ever made. Definitely too tight round the bust now, plus the waistband sits too high/cuts across the bottom of my boobs. Though weirdly the straps are loose and there’s excess fabrics around the underarms. I don’t really understand how the two can coexist, but I need not figure this out, cos it’s getting donated. The seams are unfinished anyway, I’m surprised it’s even lasted this long!

I really wanted to wear that seasalt top so I threw on the K1, P1 megacowl to flfill my pledge

Me made may

My first evr onyx, done in ikea fabric. No FBA, but it looks good enough to wear.

Dave getting tired of taking my photo already, so I’m afraid there’s going to be a lot of selfies!

I do like that dress, gorgeous fabric. Could you not cut it down to a skirt, making a waistband of fabric from the bodice?

You always wear such a nice range of colours! The dress sounds like it has the bust height slightly too low for you so it’s all sitting too high. I second the new skirt plan!

I like Jessica’s suggestion of making your dress into a skirt. It’s lovely fabric. I love th Onyx with the the mustard cardigan too. Great colours!

So many lovely colours! It sounds like you’re getting a lot out of MMMay so far in terms of evaluating your wardrobe.
